Today Maciej Zientarski, a well-known sports journalist, is undergoing a third operation. He is suffering from serious injuries incurred after Wednesday’s horrific car crash of his red Ferrari. Today doctors are expected to make an official announcement concerning Zientarski’s health. His friend, Super Express journalist Jarosław Zabiega died in the crash. According to eye witnesses, just after Ferrari smashed into a pillar of the flyoverin Służew (a district of Warsaw) Zabiega was still alive. “He was conscious and calling for help,” recounts one of the witnesses. The Ferrari was immediately surrounded by drivers trying to extinguish the fire that broke out as a result of the huge impact. Unfortunately, they did not manage to help the journalist as the petrol tank exploded. It is uncertain who was driving the Ferrari, but in all likelihood it was Maciej Zientarski.
