President Should Apologise

“Every human being has their own freedom and dignity. Nobody deserves to have their image used without their permission. The president’s office should apologize to the homosexual from Canada whose image was used in Lech Kaczyński’s speech and political manifesto,” according to Elżbieta Radziszewska, government representative for equal rights.”Officials are responsible for what happened. I really do not know if the President was aware of what was going on. I think an apology on behalf of the president should be made by one of his officials to the person who appeared in Kaczyński’s manifesto,” she added. According to Radziszewska, homosexuals in Poland are discriminated against in certain sectors, for example, in education. “If a homosexual is a good educator and performs well in the workplace, his or her sexual orientation should not be an issue,” says Radziszewska.
