Poznań strikers on fire
After a dull first half in Warsaw three goals in twelve second-half minutes put the tie well into the hands of FC Moscow who beat Legia Warsaw 1:2. This was a more than impressive UEFA Cup début for the Russian side who look to be emulating the success of other Russian sides in the European cups. On this poor showing Legia Warsaw will most certainly be dumped out of the UEFA Cup. In Poznań on the other hands, 17,000 fans saw Lech Poznań demolish Grasshoppers Zurich 6:0 which will most surely put the tie well beyond the reach of the Swiss side in a result that made history for the Poznań side.
