The main award, the Golden Frog, of the 17th Plus Camerimage Festival went to Giora Bejach, cinematographer of Lebanon. The silver statuette was awarded to Krzysztof Ptak for The Dark House (Dom zły) directed by Wojciech Smarzowski. Marcin Koszałka won The bronze Frog for cinematography in Reverse (Rewers). Besides the main honours, other awards went to: Snow White and Russian Red which won the Polish Film Award; Weronika Bilska received the Golden Tadpole (the Student Etude Award) for cinematography in Dirty Words (Brzydkie słowa). The jury also decided to award Blonde Fire as the best music video of the festival and Unmistaken Child as the best feature documentary. Allan Starski, production designer of Schindler’s List and The Pianist received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Among the other honorary award recipients were: Terry Gilliam, Volker Schlöndorff, Terry Sanders, Dante Spinotti, Carlos Saura and Vittorio Storaro.
