A Polish Cup

This year’s Roller Cup will take place in the centre of Warsaw. Registration has already begun. The roller-skating event for both professionals and amateurs will be held on 18 May on Aleje Ujazdowskie. Last September, the public could watch Poland’s best inline speed skaters in Wilanów where Bartosz Chojnacki won the Polish Long Distance Cup. One loop of the course is 3.2 km long and the main race consists of 13 loops (41.6 km), although there will be a shorter race for amateurs. “Anyone can participate in the Roller Cup. All you need are rollerblades and a helmet. The event includes races for preschoolers, children, adults and professionals. Everyone will find something for themselves,” says Grzegorz Wajs, director of the competition, from Poland Bike. For more information see rollercup.pl
