The Chopin Intercity train hit a car on a railroad crossing in the Czech Republic. The train was travelling from Vienna to Warsaw. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. Susan Szopowska, a spokeswoman for Intercity, informed journalists that the train left Vienna with a delay of about 30 minutes. The train arrived in Warsaw after 1.00 pm instead of 8.24 am. This train becomes the Intercity Silesia in Bohumin, heading on towards Kraków, where it reached its destination before 12.00 pm instead of 6.36 am.
