Executive Chairman of Google Eric Schmidt recently visited Warsaw and announced that the third ever Google Startup Center (after Tel Aviv and London) will be opened in Poland. “We are very proud that the Startup community is growing so dynamically in Poland. We hope the Warsaw Campus will help with the development of technological operations, enhance the startup ecosystem, and encourage people to develop innovating projects in Poland,” he said. The Campus will cover an area of approximately 1,800 square metres. Entrepreneurs will get the chance to rent an office and organise meetings with investors. Wireless internet access will be available on the whole Campus. There will also be training sessions and workshops, which will act as a form of support for entrepreneurs. The facility is set to open in 2015.
