Ryanair will begin flying from Warsaw Modlin airport to the Canary Islands: Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Tenerife. The airline also plans to expand domestic flights and offer cheap tickets for families next year. Flights to the Canary Islands will begin in late October this year. Ticket prices will begin from PLN 129 one way. “Travel agents are quaking in their boots,” said Juliusz Komorek, a Ryanair board member. The airline will also offer discounts of 50% on all flights for children between the ages of 2 and 16. “The aim is to encourage more families to fly,” Juliusz Komorek added.
