Child Safety Laws

Child Safety?

Child Safety?

“I have three kids: one-year-old twins and a four-year-old daughter,” says Monika. “We managed to get around by car because the child seats were fixed to the bigger seat of our daughter. When the boys got older we had to change their seats. However, all three no longer fit in the back. I have heard that in such situations the oldest child can travel without a child seat and only have to wear a seat belt. Is this true?” wonders mother of three, Monika. Indeed, in mid-May, provisions relating to child safety in cars were slightly modified. The most controversial of the amendments is that a child who is at least three years old can wear only a seat belt, without the need for a child seat in the back, provided, however, this is the only option as there are already two children in child seats, and it is impossible to install a third.
