The search for a 41-year-old resident of Katowice has come to an end. The local police found the body of the man on Monday evening in a forest in Romanowo near Częstochowa. The cause of death and reason why the man was so far from his home are as yet unknown. “The body of the man revealed stab wounds and cut marks around the wrists, chest and neck. At the moment, it is impossible to unequivocally determine the cause of death,” said Tomasz Ozimek from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Częstochowa. For the sake of the investigation, the prosecutor is not willing to reveal any more details. It is still unclear whether the prosecutor has excluded the participation of third parties in the man’s death, and whether police officers found any murder weapon at the scene of the crime. What has been confirmed, however, is that this is the body of the Katowice man who went missing over four weeks ago.
